Chapter Seven

"Where do you want to go now Maddy?"
"My house or your house?" A big smile appeared on Trey's face.
"Yours. Your house is bigger than mine."
"Well, I have a bigger family."
"True, but I have a big family too. But I like your house more anyway. You have bigger rooms."
"Fine with me."
"Will anyone be there?"
"Probably. Everybody's getting back from their summer activities now." I look at my watch. "Yup. About now."
"That's okay. We can go to your house anyway." Trey put the car into gear and drove to my house.
"So tell me about your brothers and sisters."
"The oldest is eighteen. That's Randy. Next is the thirteen year old triplets Mallory, Vanessa and Elizabeth. The youngest is six. His name is Blake."
And your parents Craig and Stephanie are lawyers."
"Right." We pulled into my driveway. Inside the house, we were greeted by the triplets and Blake.
"Hi Maddy!" They came running up to us.
"Hey guys. What have you been up to?"
"Watching t.v." They replied casually.
"The only t.v. upstairs is in mom and dad's office. You know that you're not supposed to be in there. That's why they have a t.v. down here."
"Yeah, but that one in their office is so much better and it's more fun to be in places you're not supposed to be." Mallory explained to me.
"Whatever. Just don't go in there. Where's Randy?" I asked them.
"At his friend Mike's house. He called to tell me that." Elizabeth claimed proudly.
"Anyway, not every one of you has met my boyfriend yet. His name is Trey. He's sixteen and has a car." I knew nobody would care about anything else, so I didn't tell them.
"Hi Trey." They all replied.
"Hi." He smiled.
"Here we go. Trey, meeet Blake, Elizabeth, Mallory and Vanessa." I pointed to each one as I said their names. "Got that?"
"Hope so."
"We're going upstairs now. The nanny will be here any minute." I led Trey upstairs to my room. I unlocked my door and went in.
"You have how many kids in your family?"
"Only four. Me, my sister Rebecca whose eight, a younger fourteen year old brother Chris, and Carrie. She's four."
"Our siblings should get togeather sometime."
"Yeah. We should do that sometime. All go to the park and go rollerblading or something."
"Hey! That would be cool. Lets do that right now. Except leave Carrie and Blake. I don't think they can blade yet."
"Lets do that." We dashed out of my room, then my phone decided to ring, so I had to run back and answer it.
"Hello?"
"Madeline!"
"Sam?"
"Yeah. I have so much good news to tell you!" "Okay. The cutest boy on the Roosevelt football team just called me! Me! Samantha Bennett!"
"Oh! Wow!"
"He said he got my number from you, Maddy. When did you do that?"
"We ran into eachother again in the ice cream shop." "Sure. Anything else?"
"Yeah. One more thing. That song we danced to today, at the football game, 'Where's The Love'?"
"Yeah, it's a great song. I was gonna get their c.d. next week. What about it?"
"Well, I heard from Amy that she talked to her brother that works at the place they have concerts, and that Hanson is coming here! To Miami! And he has connections and can get three front row seats and three backstage passes! And Amy wants to take me and you! Isn't that exciting?!"
"Yes! Oh my gosh! What do they look like? Wait. I have to go. I'll call you later, okay?"
"Kay! Bye!"
"Bye!" We squealed. I hung up the phone, took a deep breath, and walked calmly over to Trey.
