Journal Entry 31

WEll, they must have, for once, gotten together without me and talked about them. I just got off the phone with Hunter, and he told me that he and Jessalyn are officially over. They chose to remain friends though, if they were even ever really friends to begin with. Anyway, the only bashing he did of her was how she was a tease and a prude for not letting him get past second base with her. Then I pointed out that it wasn't like he was lacking in getting any anyway because of all the other girls in the meantime. He just laughed and agreed. He really seemed okay with it though- but I'm sure that's just because he's got his eye on someone else already. Who knows. So here's my next song, to celebrate the occasion.

She's walking around in emptiness
She's looking for the good
She left in her prom dress
She can't take back all her regrets
Her only hope is what she did she'll soon forget

The sky's a blur
My drug my friend
Sometimes you can't avoid the lonesome bitter end
She's breathing in some nicotine
And when she's down she'll drown this town in kerosene

This must be the end of the line
This must be the end of the line
This must be the end of the line

The ganja boys
They like her there
Maybe the truth is just too much for you to bear
You can't avoid a compromise
Maybe this is just a reflection of what's on your mind

This must be the end of the line
This must be the end of the line

Even all this time, we're still making it fine
Even all this time, we're still making it fine
Even all this time, we're still making it fine

This must be the end of the line
This must be the end of the line
This must be the end of the line
This must be the end of the line
You can't avoid a compromise
This must be the end of the line
You can't avoid what's on your ming
This must be the end of the line
You can't avioid a compromise
This must be the end of the line
This must be the end of the line
She's walking around in emptiness
She's looking for the good
She's left in her prom dress

And since she works tomorrow, I think I'll go drop in, say hi, see how she's doing in this whole thing, and flirt the entire time. But now, I should go to bed, and tomorrow, after things settle some, I'll talk to Hunter to see if he'd care if I took a shot at her.
