Jounal Entry 38

I gave it a couple days to let it sink in. I coulen't believe what I'd seen. If I hadn't seen it with my own eyes, I would have refused it. So I confronted her yesterday. I went to her work, demanded to see her, and the loon on the old ladies faces, they knew I meant business. They practically pushed her out of the back room. I took her by the hand and led her to the same park bench. It was the first physical contact I've had with her in a couple weeks. When we sat, I took deep breaths and looked into her eyes. They looked dull, and lifeless. I had so many questions, but I had to do this first. I told her to please be quiet until I was finished, and that I had seen her with the other guy, and had heard things. She nodded and sat quietly.

Well I see you walking out that door
And you know you can't hide no more
If I asked you now
I know you wouldn't give it up
If I asked you how
You'd give that look to kill
Oh, it gives you a chill but
Oh, it gives me a thrill to say

Do you love me
Do you love me
Do you love me little pretty
Can you tell me
Can you tell me
What's going on in the city

You're sittin there trying to look so sweet
When every word you say's so full of deciete yeah
Well if I ask you how
You'd give that look to kill
Oh it gives you a chill but
Oh it gives me a thrill to say

Do you love me
Do you love me
Do you love me little pretty
Can you tell me
Can you tell me
What's going on in the city

I'm gonna ask you once agian
You've gotta tell me once again
Do you love me, yeah, oh
I'm gonna ask you once again
You've gotta tell me once again
Do you love me, oh
I'm gonna ask you once again
You've gotta tell me once again
Do you love me
Do you love me
Do you love me

Do you love me
Do you love me
Do you love me little pretty
Can you tell me
Can you tell me
What's going on in the city

Do you love me
Do you love me
Do you love me little pretty yeah
Can you tell me
Can you tell me
What's going on in the city

Do you love me
Do you love me
Do you love me little pretty
Can you tell me
Can you tell me
What's going on in the city

And then I sang another.

I'm wondering why
What's the game we're playing
Lies are all you're saying
Got me wondering why
Just wondering why
Right here on the brink and
Feel my spririt sink
You got me wondering why
Just wondering why

With all the time you're wasting
Maybe we can just make up your mind

There's nowhere to run
There's nowhere to hide
You're driving me crazy baby
So you better decide

Why'd it take so long to see that something's wrong
You've got me wondering why
Just wondering why
It was a sunny day but
You broght all the rain
You've got me wondering why
Just wondering why

With all the time you're wasting
Maybe you can just make up your mind

There's nowhere to run
There's nowhere to hide
You're driving me crazy baby
So you better decide
You better decide

There's nowhere to run
So you better decide

And then I got up and left, with her still sitting on the bench.
