Kira didn't see or hear from Taylor for the next week. Of course, his timing had to be perfect.
She was laying out in the sun in her bikini, with the baby monitor next to her. She'd just put the baby down for a nap, so she figured she'd have about an hour, which was more than enough time for her to get burnt. She'd had everything already set out- lemonaid, ipod on low, sunglasses and plenty of tanning lotion. She'd just layed down on her chair when she heard her name called. Sighing, she opened her eyes and looked in the direction. She knew who it was. She saw him, arms resting on the fence, smiling at her. What was he standing on to see over the fence like that? She smiled. "Hey Taylor."
"Mind if I come over?" Wait. What? She wanted to say, "Say that again", because she couldn't be hearing what she thought she was. It took a minute to register.
"Sure." She thought it would take him a couple minutes to climb down whatever he was on, go through his house then hers, but instead, he hopped over the fence! Kira's chin dropped. No time wasted, she guessed. He grinned at her expression, then crossed the grass to sit at the edge of her chair next to her knees.
"Hey. How have you been?"
And now he was making small talk? "Good, you?"
"Busy. I've been holed up in the studio for the past week, and it's kinda weird to see sunlight. Man you're a sight for sore eyes." His gaze swept down her body, then back up slowly. As she watched his eyes, she wondered if she should provoke him, because now would be the time. The time for her most secret dream to come true. Her mind raced as his eyes returned to hers. Her hidden dreams were winning. Besides. Who knew if this oppertunity would ever come by again? She had to do it. Go for it. Yeah.
"So..." She brought a hand up to slowly caress her bare stomach. She watched his eyes go straight to her hand. She trailed it down, over her left hip and cought the strap of her bikini and pulled it gently with her thumb.
"So." He said, voice thick. "Are you ah, sending me a message?" He asked, eyes never leaving her hand.
"Instant message style. What do you think?"
"I think it's loud and clear, and I say, yeah. I just wanted to make sure it wasn't just me-" And with that, she pulled the tie on her suit, and let it hang, then did the same to the other side. She slipped a hand under the loose material.
"Do I need to do this myself?"
"Ah, no, but you're making it look damn good." She smiled.
"Good, because when I usually do this, the person I think about isn't sitting right next to me." She smiled when his jaw dropped slightly. Point for me, she thought. "But since you are, I'm going to take advantage." She brought her hands to the button of his jeans, then the zipper, her eyes never leaving his. She was waiting for the second he'd suck in his breath and snap back to reality and change his mind about what he was about to do. When that moment never came and she was working his jeans down over his hips, she began to work a little faster, not wanting that moment to come. When he stood up and started stepping out of his jeans, she knew they were good to go. She pushed his boxer briefs down, and noted he was ready to go.
