Lebanon
the land of cedars
Lebanon is a small
country in middle east, seated on the east shores of
the Mediterranean sea. Surrounded by Syria from the north and east
and Israel from the south. Lebanon has beautiful sea shores, vast
valleys heaven reaching mountains. It climate is second to none in the Middle East,
where you can enjoy the cool breeze in the higher lands, and swim under the golden sun
rays on the sandy shores.
Lebanon is known to be the
birthplace of a great civilizations the Phoenician. Many grate civilization thrived
in Lebanon, such as the Roman, the Byzantine, the Ashorian, and the Ottoman Empire.
In the Late 1700 and early 1900 Lebanon rulers where my ancestors the Chehab's
Family. Lebanon flourished between the 1940's and 1960's, where it was considered
the center for trade and culture of the middle East.
Lebanon is the only Middle East country where people has the freedom to
practice their religion, for its known for the mixture of culture, religion and ethnic
background.
Lebanon went through 17 years of
darkness and conspiracy where people fought and killed each other on behalf of other
forces. Every family in Lebanon lost a loved one or suffered from this bloody war.
In 1990, a new sun raised over
Lebanon, guns stopped firing, and the people of Lebanon brushed the ashes and dust of
those years. The country went through a major construction on all fronts and people
started to rebuild the human factor. Lebanon
has improved a lot in the last 6 years, people started to invest in the country,
tourists started coming back to Lebanon, the night life become more lively and enjoyably.
