Colleen stared dismally at the new, official notice on Hansonline. "Hanson's only name on AOL is mmmbop." Well, duh. thought Colleen. I knew that. She read on. "Hanson does not use hotmail or any other email address." Colleen stared in shock at the screen. No way. This can't be happening. I trusted them!!! Colleen began to plot her revenge. She finally thought of a way to trick them into admitting they were posers. She knew they didn't have anything going on for a couple of weeks, so she was going to ask for an online or on-phone interview. Before writing her email, Colleen called Liz. "Liz, it isn't them. 'Hanson' aren't Hanson at all, they're posers."
"How do you know?" asked Liz.
Colleen read her the notice on Hansonline. "So listen, here's my plan: I am going to ask them for an online or phone interview and see what they say. We're good enough friends that they'd have to say yes, and I KNOW they're not doing anything for awhile. And, if they agreed to an online interview, it would have to be under their ONLY SN, mmmbop."
"Sounds like a plan." Liz said.
Colleen talked to Liz for a little while more and then hung up. She thought hard before writing her email. I don't want to be too forward, but I want to know!! she thought. I want "Taylor" to really be Taylor. Deciding what she should say, Colleen wrote the email:
You guys know I'm on the staff of my school paper, and I need a story!! I know you're on a break right now, so how about doing an online or phone interview?
