The requirements of this Clause are that if you conduct servicing activities, they must be controlled.
I personally would normally consider that under ISO 9002, any
servicing activities should be controlled in the same way as
process activities (see In the case of ISO 9001 systems, this section may also include
the gathering of information which is then used to prove that the
design met its requirements (e.g. achievement of MTBF rates,
performance of software packages, etc), thus fulfilling the Design Validation section of Clause 4.4.
