Hi, I'm Grey Bear, formerly known as Quiet Thunder. Recently during a vision, the spirits saw fit to change my name as often happens with the Indian people. If you have been here before and things don't look the same as before, well they are different. Different things will be added to or completely replaced with other information/lessons. So, for now, lets take a walk. -Grey Bear
We walk a little, and we talk a little.
Modern sociology teaches us that people suffer from deep anxiety and/or sense of loss when they are uprooted from their homeland and its customs. This is also true of spiritual customs and beliefs. Many of these seekers fear what they find as it may go against that which they have been taught by parents, preachers, and others who sought to control them. Many theologists agree that most religions are based on and in fear. Fear promised the leaders of these religions the followers they needed to build their kingdom, their church, and in many cases their armies. A perfect example is the religious leaders and their armies who forced the Indians to abandon their beliefs and customs or die, and who kidnapped and forced the Indian children to learn a different language, a different religion, and to abandon even their own families. The Spanish who waged war on the Mayans. Todays government and religious leaders and their lobbyist who are again attempting to take away the religious practices of the Native American. The rape of Sacred Burial grounds today of the Navajo, and the ripping out of Mother Earth's very heart in the Black Hills.
When many seekers get to close to their own ancient seeds they are faced with the fears that have been instilled within them, and they attack rather than continue their spirit path. We must be what we have been chosen to be by our ancient seeds. We must make the best of all that is around us as those seeds are attempting to re-teach us. We must never second guess the Creator's reasoning for doing something. We don't have the authority to change what must be, however we are obligated to change those things that the Creator has chosen for us to change. We must never draw blood to terminate life as this is not within the authority that has been bestowed upon us. We are meant to be the Healers and the History Keepers of Mother Earth and of ourselves. The traditions of our past and its customs must be taught from one generation to the next.
*What walks, swims, flies, or creeps is in relationship; the mountains, streams, and valleys
and all things are related to your thought and action.
*What occurs around you and within you reflects your own mind and shows you the dream
you are weaving.
*Three principles of awakened mind guid enlightened action: will to see the Mystery as it is;
intention to manifest one's purpose for the benefit of all; courage to do what must be done.
*Generosity of heart and action brings peace and abundance for all in the circle. *Respect
for elders, clan, land, and nation inspires acts in harmony with the sacred law, good
caretaking of the gifts received. *Action to benefit the land and the people unto seven
generations shapes the consciousness of the Planetary Caretaker, dreaming those yet unborn
ever minful of life's unfolding. *To be in good relation, transforming patterns of seperation,
pacifying conflicking emotions, is to experience the wisdom within, still lake Mystery.
