"Hey, hon." he greeted her. "I missed ya! I'm soo tired of touring!"
"I missed you too!" she replied as she gave him a huge kiss. That night the two of them went ice skating with Clarissa's two friends: Danielle and Megan. The six of them skated around for hours, then went midnight sledding at the huge hill in the Hanson's backyard. Clarissa and Taylor went down on the plastic saucer together holding each other the whole way down. They made snow angels and rolled down the hill in the cold, white snow. They ran around talking and laughing. They finally went inside to watch TV, when Clarissa fell asleep in Taylor's arms.
"Tay, hon...wake up! It's Christmas!" She woke him up the next morning.
Clarissa sat in her room crying.....she hadn't seen Taylor since June, now it was December. All of a sudden a song that sounded awfully familiar came on the radio:
They're singing "Deck the Halls"
But it's not like Christmas at all
I remember when you were here
And all the fun that we had last year
The snow's coming down
Now I'm watching it fall
All the people around
Baby please come home
The church bells in town
All ringing in song
Full of happy sounds
Baby please come home
They're singing "Deck the Halls"
But it's not like Christmas at all
I remember when you were here
And all the fun that we had last year
Now the snow's coming down
Now I'm watching it fall
Lot's of people around
Baby please come home
(won't you please, oh)
They're singing "Deck the Halls"
But it's not like Christmas at all
I remember when you were here
And all the fun that we had last year
The snow's coming down
Now I'm watching it fall
All the people around
Baby ,baby, baby please come home
Baby please come home
Baby please come home
Baby please come home
Now I'm feeling all alone
Oh the snow's coming down
Now I'm watching it fall...
