THE CACTUS CLUB - BRUGGE, Belgium

Hello

After waiting a long time and trying to be as close to the stage as possible(it was sold out) finally some band members appeared on the stage. But still no Andrew...Suddenly we saw someone coming up in the back of the stage and heard a raw and creaky voice singing SUPERCOOL.We didn't know how he looked like so it was quiet a surprise that he was such a little, shy 'boy' but with a voice like my grandaddy.

After ending Supercool he seems to be annoid with the huge positive response of the audience. So he murmured a thanks and started with 'I splash'. Other things we remembered of that night were of course 'Rosey Red' and a long version of 'no butter, no oil'.

The two guitarists were in a really good mood and tried to beat eachother with their best guitartricks. From the drummer we remembered that he looked like a funny freak from 'the muppet show' but played very well. We didn't see the woman on the bass because she was standing behind the amplifiers.

He ended with a poem and a really great 'come to me'. We will always remember that night and bought his album afterwards.
