Grand-pa was a farmer, his house of a genuine rustic simplicity, has been lightly restored for more comfort, healthy rest and peace for those wanting to recover the energies lost due to the urban stressful life.
Grand-pa's house is located at Pico Alto, Santa, Porto Moniz. From Funchal, by car, it takes about one hour and ten minutes to get to Pico Alto. From the house to Porto Moniz Village, at sea shore, it takes about 15 minutes, also by car. In the village there are several restaurants, and a natural (seawater) swimming pool.
Grand-pa's house is right next to the forest, allowing many beautiful walks. The main road is two minutes away from the house, on foot. Temperature is around 13º C in the winter and 24º C in the summer.
The house has two double-bedded rooms, bathroom, living room and a complete kitchen with fireplace.
