Cherokee -aka- Tsa La Gi

Quote: " I have Indian blood in me. I have just enough white blood for you to question my honesty! "
Will Rogers -AKA- The Cherokee Kid

Welcome to my native Heritage page, I am of the Cherokee Tribe, Tsa La Gi is also known as Cherokee and Ani-Yunwiya is reportedly the original cherokee word..

Tsa La Gi is a Choctaw word for "cave land people". Cherokee is a way the invaders chose to pronounce Tsa La Gi....

Ani-yunwiya is the word in Cherokee that means "The People" or "People of God"....

Please browse through my other links to learn more of the native american way... I am not much cherokee, but love to learn and it is a beautiful way that the natives have lived in harmony with Mother Earth....

May the warm winds of Heaven
Blow softly upon your house.
May the Great Spirit
Bless all who enter there.
May your mocassins
Make happy tracks
In many snows,
And may the rainbow
Always touch your shoulder
