Dave has always liked to be in the kitchen.
He figured out early that
cooking has benefits that other hobbies do not share: you can eat the
result.
Dave is 17 years old and this year he is a Senior in the culinary program at Carver
High School in Towson.
I told him to get a job nearby, so that he could walk to work.
Now he makes food in the kitchen at Monaghan's Pub in Woodlawn.
When the Bar Owner interviewed Dave for the job, the man asked him:
"Does your
mother know you're here?"
He is an incredible juggler. He rides a unicycle, and can juggle clubs and balls. He wants me to buy him knives and torches for Christmas. Just the gift Mom would love to give!
