How I Got To Like Hanson Stories

Hey, my name is Amanda and I started liking Hanson in the summer of '97. I was camping with my cousins and my cousin had their CD. I thought okay this CD is gonna suck. I did not like Hanson at the time. So I listened to it and it blew me away. I was like, "These are kids playing the instruments." I was so impressed. Each song was amazing. I could not stop listening to the CD. I went home and bought it right away. The weird thing was I was a big Hanson hater. I love them now and will always be behind them no matter what. Hanson you will always have me as a fan.

I WENT 2 STAY 2 WEEKS W/ MY CUZ AND SHE HAD THE CD(IN JULY OF '97).WE LISTENED 2 IT WHILE WE PLAYED NINTENDO IN HER BATHROOM:)!!!!I LOOOOOVED IT SOOOOO MUCH!!!!I WENT OUTAND BOUGHT IT THEN WHEN I CAME HOME I SHOWED IT 2 A COUPLE BUDS AND THEY INSTANTLY FELL IN LOVE W/ IT!!!AND NOW AND 4EVER WE WILL LOVE HANSON!!!!

I remember, way back in the summer of 1997. (Geez, makes you feel old saying that) My sister was in her room doodling. I walked in and looked at the paper. She had wrote 'Hanson' and 'MMMBop' all over it (along with some weird faces). I asked her what MMMBop was, she replied, "It's a song my Hanson, it's great!" As the job of a younger sibling, I began to tease her about how much Hanson sucked. (MIND YOU, I had never heard the song, let alone say them on television) She became very unhappy with me and made me leave the room. Later, about 3 weeks, we as a family, went to Wal-Mart. (Wal-Mart, the god of all stores!) There, Brandi walked over to the cd section of the electronics and picked up an orange cd. I ask what it was, and she told me Hanson. I became embarrassed, and walked off with my mother. (MIND YOU, this is before I heard the music, let alone say them on television) The second we get home, she fights the cd open and the three young voices come blaring out of her room throughout the whole house. Now, I'm sitting in my room, hearing them, and thinking 'ah, they aren't that bad.' But, as the job of the younger sibling, I continue to annoy her about how 'horrible they are.' At school the following week, my friends and I walk into the library for lunch (Library for lunch you ask, high school kids wonder the classrooms during lunch) to look at magazines and talk about what happened to us that weekend. I began to tell them about my sisters fun with her new Hanson cd. But as I turned the pages of the magazine, I see an orange that reminded me of the cd my sis bought. I look at the ad, and there is Hanson. I show my friends, and they all giggle. Finally, after a few weeks, I began to like Hanson. I guess my sis got tired of them, so I took them on. I liked the music from the start, which is the truth. But, as the job of a younger sibling, I had to act like I hated them. : )
