Snyder, Ok..3 Jimmy went to school at Lindsey, Ok. He joined the service and
served in Korea. Jimmy died in the service after his second marriage. He ided in
Ca at the San Diago military hospital on active duty.

sons of Mr. and Mrs. H. A. Sims of Lindsay, died Wednesday, Sept. 16, at a
marine hospital at San Diego, Calif. Sgt. Sims was serving with the Marine Corps
at San Diego, Calif. He had undergone lung surgery about 2 weeks ago. Funeral
services were conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday at the First Baptist church at Snyder.
Burail was in tthe Snyder cemetery. Suvivors, other that his parents, include his
wife, Alice, and 3 sons, Jimmy, Alan, and Abner of the home, a daughter, Jacquita
Sims of Arizona and a sister Mrs. Bob Burkes of Enid. He was married to
Wilma Joyce PITTMAN on Sep 6 1953 in Lindsey, Ok..4

Wilma worked all her life. IN about 1980, she was in a car wreck and broke her

Orbit: Jane Williams, daughter of James and Nancy Williams was born in
Cleburne, Alabama on March 1858 and passed away at the home of her
daughter Mrs. N. C. Shockley near Roosevelt, Oklahoma on Sept. 30, 1925
aged 73, 6 months and 28 days. In July 1872, shw was united in marriage
to Noah Beason. To this union five children were born, Ella, Joe, Will,
Jerry and Henry. She united with the Missinary Baptist Church at the age of
17 and lived a devoted Christian life until her death. She and her husband and family
moved to Young County Texas in 1906. Her husband died in 1908 and then she has
made her home with her children in Alabama, Texas and Oklahoma. One son, W. L. Beason,
preceded her in death in 1934. She leaves to mourn her passing the following children
J. J. Beason, Rochester, Texas, J. J. Beason INdiahoma and J. H. Beason Synder
and Mrs. Ella Shockley Roosevelt. There are 24 granchildren, 55 great grandchildren
and one great great grandchild. funeral services were held at the Baptist Church
in Snyder on Tuesday afternoon of this week. The services were conducted by
Rev. H. B. Donnell. Interment was made in the Fairlawn Cemetery. The Tarpley
Funeral Home of Snyder had charge of the funeral arrangements.
