Regiment, Confederate Army, Ark..10 The Sixteenth Tennessee Infantry was
organized at Camp Harris, Tn and mustered into Confederate service there in late
Jun, 1861. Nine hundred and fifty-two officers and enlisted men were mustered
into service as members of the 16th Regiment. At the end of the war, barely 100
men remained.
