Stray dogs at Neo Tiew 2003
Neo Tiew is an abandoned estate along Lim Chu Kang Road. The Singapore Armed Forces plan to convert this estate into a FIBUA (Fighting in built-up areas) village for soldiers. Meanwhile, the area is inhabited by stray dogs.
The dogs subsist on rainwater and leftover food from nearby construction sites.
In fact, signs have already been put up demarcating this as a restricted zone.
