Medieval Garb Sample

For a little over a year now, I have been getting a bit involved in medieval recreation. I really like making dresses to wear to the different local events. (Could you tell that I loved to play dress-up as a child?)Here are some samples of the dresses I have created by chopping up patterns from Wall-mart. :o)

Wool Dress

This dress was made with a cotton flannel chemise, a heather blue wool for the bodice and blue ploy-cotton for the skirt. It is perfect for a chilly camp site or feast.

Green Dress

This dress is made of poly-cotton with a cotton underdress and it laces with ribbons. It's in the style of those worn during the Italian Renaissance. The sleeves are attached with ribbon as well.
