The Movie And The So Called date
"ohmigod" Joey screamed as she enter her front door.
"what" her little 10 year old sister Julie asked
"I have a dated tonight with Taylor Hanson"
"holy shit how did that happen"
"Julie watch your mouth. OK so here's what happened. I was rollarblading then when I was going around the corner I ran right into..."
"Taylor ohmigod you are so lucky."
"no I didn't run into Taylor I ran into Zac then Taylor came and I told him I just moved here and he said he would so me around and asked me to go to the mall with him tonight." joey rambled on to her sister.
"oh" Julie calmly replied. "Thats cool"
"So Zac what did you think of Joey."
"Well Tay if you weren't flirting with her the whole time maybe I could of talked to , other then that I think she was pretty cool."
"Hey I was not flirting with her the whole time."
"Yeah whatever Tay."
"Hey guys whatcha doing" Isaac asked as he came into the room.
"oh hey Ike we were just discussion Taylor's date tonight."
"Taylor you have a date who is it? Is it that blond girl down the street?"
"No, it is a new girl that just moved her from Atlanta her name is Joey. She has long brown hair and brown eyes and I would say she's probably around 5'4. You should see her Ike, actually you are when you drive us to the mall tonight."
"Wait I am not going to drive you to the mall, get mom or dad to do it."
"Awe come on Isaac PLLEEEAAASSE!"Taylor whined on his knees to Isaac. "Please Ike I don't want mom or dad to take is.Please I'll do anything for you.Please,Please."
"all right, now get off the floor."
Taylor got off the floor and started rummaging though his clothes. "Guys what should I wear?"
"Just wear something casual and cool" Isaac replayed
"Thanks that really helps all my clothes are like that."
"Whatever Tay." Zac shot back from his position on the floor playing with his playstation.
"Ding-Dong" the door bell rang at Joey's house
"I'll get it" Joey yelled running down the steps. She stopped in front of the mirror by the door for a Last minute look over"OK I think am ready" Joey slowly opened the door and saw Taylor standing there looking hot.She was speechless.
"Hi Taylor" she finally managed to say.
"Hey Joey, you look really nice" Joey was wearing khaki cargo pants with a blue camo baby tee with Docs. Even though she wasn't wearing anything revealing Taylor thought she was the most gorgeous thing he had ever seen.
"um thanks, so do you." Her last comment made Taylor blush a little.
"So are you ready to go"
"Yeah"
"OK, well Isaac is waiting in the car we should go"
"That is so sweat of your brother to do that."
"Yeah I guess so" "If only you knew I have to be his maid for a week so he could take us."
"OK guys have fun and I will pick you up here in 3 1/2 hours"Isaac told them from the
drivers seat.
"Yeah that sounds fine to me."
"Well OK let's see we got Mickey D's , Taco Bell, Burger King, a pizza place and
Chinese.So what do you want?"
"Yo Queiro Taco Bell."
"Uh what was that" Taylor asked with a confused look on his face.
"You know the Taco Bell commercial with the dog he says Yo Queiro Taco Bell which
means I want Taco Bell."
"Sorry I haven't really been able to see much TV."
"yea I guess so."
"OK so what do you want" Taylor asked as they approached the cashier
"I'll take a kids meal"
"A kids meal." Taylor tried to get out without laughing.
"whats so funny about getting a kids meal am not a pig like you plus you get a free toy."
"OK we'll take 1 kids meal and a number 3;Taylor told the cashier
"OK your total is 6.79"
"Here"Joey added Taylor 3 dollars.
"no I'll pay for it" Taylor protested.
"No I don't agree I always pay half" Joey said handing the money to the cashier.
Taylor and Joey dinner went real well after they argued about paying for the meal. Taylor
finally let her pay half. He was actually happy to see that see did that cos that showed him
that Joey wasn't going to take advantage of him and his money.
"Excuse me are you Taylor Hanson" 3 girls around the age of 9 and 10 came to their
table.
"yes"
"Can we have you autograph?"
"Sure do you have a pen?"
"Yea here" The girl handed him a pen. Taylor signed their things for them and they went
on their way.
"Sorry bout that it just comes with me every were I go"
"That's all right I don't mind as long as they don't come screaming at you professing their
love for you"
"Could Joey be jealous"Taylor asked reaching for her hand. Joey immediately pulled back.
"Um no. Whatever Taylor"
"So what movie do you want to see."Joey asked trying to get off the subject.
"I don't know how bout Lost In Space"
"That sounds good"
"Are you ready to go" Taylor got up from his seat and helped Joey up.
"yea" and Taylor and Joey walked side by side to the movies.
Taylor and Joey walked into the theater."So where do you want to seat?" Taylor asked
her.
"I guess over there" Joey pointed to some seats near the back in the middle.
"That looks good" They walked over to their seats having to first get pass this couple all
over each other.
"Eww did you see that." Joey said making a disgusting face.
"They were like all over each other."
"Taylor"
"Yeah"
"What time is it?"
"What are you bored with me already" Taylor asked grinning."It's 7:15 the movie should
start in bout 5 minutes."
"OK"
During the movie Joey started to get bored with it. She looked over at Taylor to see if he
was enjoying the movie or was bored like her. Joey quickly turned back. "ohmigod he is
staring right at me. Um maybe I should put my head on his shoulder.No it's to soon for
that I just meet him today" Joey looked over at him again. Taylor was sill looking at her
she just gave him a small smile then went back to the movie.
"god it's freezing in here"Joey thought while quietly pulling her legs up to her chest to
keep warm. "I should have worn a jacket"
"Whats the matter" Taylor asked as he looked at her."Are you cold"
"Yes"
"Here" Taylor took off his jacket and put it around her. Then he put his arm around her
pulling her closer to him.
"Thanks" Joey quietly whispered as she laid her head on his should watching the rest of
the movie.
"You know what Joey I had a really great time tonight" Taylor said as he was walking her
up to her door.
Joey turned around to him."Yeah me too."
"Joey"
"Yes"
"Do you think we could maybe get together tomorrow and do something" Taylor asked
hoping she would say yes.
"Sure, that sounds great to me. Here's my number" She handed him a piece a paper and wrote down her number. "why
don't you call me tomorrow"
"OK well I'll see ya tomorrow then"
"all right, good night Taylor" Joey was about to put her key in the lock when Taylor
grabbed her hand
"wait" Taylor quickly brushed his lips against hers and felt a surge of energy that he liked.
The kiss only lasted a second but it seemed forever for Joey.
"I'll see ya later" Taylor said we he slowly walked back to the car with Isaac waiting for
him
