ok, now, mayhap this is a bit on the idiotic side, on the
sappy side, perhaps, but sometimes, just sometimes, it doesn't matter.
because sometimes people need to hear things, especially the positive
things.
i know, i know, what type of drugs am i on? i'm a confirmed pessimist...
but i can't help thinking of some of the people that, in their own, unmaudlin
way, seem to make everyone else's life just that much better. whether with a smirk
at a classmate, of the flick of a whip to their roommate, they cause others to
respond. they just... even an online wink affects others with amusement,
and truly so, because they're real. they're not phony. they're dramatic without
being showy...
and they're an inspiration to us all, even when we're at our worst.
which isn't to say that they never feel that way, these people sometimes, most of
the time, cheer people up though things are going wrong for them. they're that strong.
they
make us realise that, well, no matter how good and down we are(oh, my, i've
lived in florida for WAY too long), these people... brighten our day.
with darkness...
and perhaps that's what we love most about them...
