Introduction

"Now in class today girls we will be discussing bussiness enterprising and how the sucessful bussiness entrepreneurs of today have gotten where they are." cackled Mrs Doyle my Commerce teacher. "I'm sure Zara Elouise can tell us all about that" Rachel said in a sarcastic, mocking tone, about half the class laughed. "Now Rachel you have actually brought up a relative topic, for once!(muttered) Zara Elouise, would you mind telling us about how your grandfather became so succesfull?" The whole class turned to face me *******(yet again the subject of my grandfather had been brought up, let me fill you in on my family and my life; well my grandpa {my dad's dad} was born into the Barclay family in england, owners of Barclay Bank, his father was Duke Andrew Charles Barclay of Lancaster making him{my grandfather} the new duke when his dad died and also inherited the Barclay Enterprise which then only consisted of the bank. He decided to take a risk and use the bank's money to invest in a number of new companies over the years, well they just about all became successful and the Enterprise now consistes of Puma, Panasonic, Trasty-the company who invented the first CD, Bacardi(you know the rum, it was a dare for him to buy the rights for the drink when it was unknown) St. Kilda AFL football club (Australian Football League) and the list goes on. He is so rich its embarrasing and the old man flants it like anything. Plus well, you know Wimbledon the tennis tournament? Well because my family is the Lancasters we present the trophy there, well actually the oldest women in the family does and cos my grandma died a while age my aunt presents it and loves the attention too. Don't get me wrong I don't mind the money but there is so much its just stupid and useless and my grandpa spends it on the most pathetic things but I suppose he earned it so he can do what he likes! My father hates him but even so he has to be tolerant to him cos when the old man dies the whole Multi-Billion-Dollar Enterprise will become his being the eldest of the children. The fact that dad hates him so much (its because he was never there for my dad when he was young, just handed out money) was part of the reason that when me and my twin brother Andy were born we moved to Melbourne, Australia. Before dad and my mum lived in London but then one day my dad got sick of his dad controlling his life and when he got a job offer in Melbourne it was too good to refuse so they moved here(grandpa just thinks dad moved because of the job). We have been living here ever since, well not my mum, she died last year from a Brain Tumour. Also I got a little brother too, Josh he is two years younger than me and Andy. Let me tell you about my life, I lived in Melbourne since I was 1, I went to Malvern Primary until Yr 6 then to Geelong Grammar, first at the city campus for the first few years but now I board here during the week and go back to Melbourne for weekends. I am 16 and Andy goes to this school too, we are the most unalike twins you will ever meet. Andy is tall 6 foot 1, he has dark brown hair, bright blue eyes and is medium build but really muscly cos he does a lot of athletics and soccer(he is in the national junior soccer team and is the state runner-up in hurdles for his age) I on the other hand am 5 foot 8 , have blonde longish hair(below my shoulders about 5 cm) its really thick and wavy and goes curly when its wet which really annoyes me, my eyes are the weirdest I have ever seen, they are this green but they are so bright, I don't like them either the look too freaky, other than that I am pretty normal, I'm not over-weight but I'm not a stick either. My sports are gymnastics(even though I'm tall) tennis and skiing (I got my skills from my mum but I'm not really good like Andy OH and there is snow in Australia!) My little bro Josh looks exactly like Andy only littler and his eyes are really dark brown. Other than the thing with my grandpa I guess I lead a pretty normal life!) -Well done if you understood all that!*********** I told the class the short version of how my grandpa got where he was in a very unenthusiastic tone, it wasn't like they didn't already know about it! My best friend Sara was giving me this sorrowful look knowing how I hated the attention I got about my grandpa. After about ten minutes of talking about him there was a knock on the classroom door, it was one of the receptionists and she asked if I could come with her. Thankfully I gathered my books and left.
