Chapter 10
The party was at one of Matt's best friends house, we left at about 8, I wore a simply black slip dress and straightened my hair so that it went down longer than usual. When we got there about the first hour and a half was spent being introduced and being told the basics about who was who at both Eton and Ascot. One of Matt's best friends, Caroline took me round and introduced me, her close friends as far as I could tell were Melanie, Rebecca and Lara (Matt's cousin) and they were all really nice to me and asked if on Wednesday I wanted to go shopping with them, I agreed happily. I figured out that those girls were pretty much going out with Matt's close group of friends who were James, Edward and William(prince- he was at the party too) James was with Rebecca, Lara was with my brother (who had been welcomed into the group) Caroline with Edward, and I think that William and Melanie had had something going on between them but not at the moment. After a while Matt came up to me and took me off outside with some drinks, we went don and sat by the lake where we got to making out for awhile until yet again we were interrupted this time by Caroline saying that there was a phone call for him. I was waiting for Matt when William came up and sat next to me (he was pretty plastered but then so was I!) He said that he wasn't going to lie and that he really did like me but there was two reasons why he couldn't do anything about it, One I was with Matt who was his best friend, and secondly the newspapers would just eat it up even more if they new that there was something really happening between us. He asked if I wanted to be friends with him, and that if I wanted to ever talk about anything like the press, my mum or if I just wanted to talk then I could just call him anytime. I said he could call me anytime too and that it would be really good to have someone to talk to about what she was going through. With that I pecked him on the cheek and said thanks. Wills gave me a card with all his different contact numbers and e-mail address and he told me that once I said who I was the password I had to say was 'jelly' He also told me never to tell or show anyone else apart from my family the phone numbers and I wasn't to tell anyone the password. I told him that I would phone and tell him my phone numbers tommorrow night and that he could call me Zeb if he wanted(I decided all the new friends I would make could call me Zeb) Then Will went back up to the house and I continued waiting for Matt who came back soon enough, I asked him who was on the phone and he said it was his mum saying that we would be going home with James. We went back to what we were doing before until about 11 when we went back up to the house with our arms around eachother (so as to give people of the opposite sex of each of us that we were together. Me imparticular had had a lot of offers, I guess I was partly famous now!) For the next hour we just sat and made out on the couch to give everyone the right idea and because we wanted to. Then we had to go back to the Okelshaw's house (we were moving in to our house tomorrow) the whole way back in the car much to Andy and James and his dad's amusement Matt and I continued our makeout session in the car and I was too drunk and happy to care about the repercussions that would undoubtingly follow in the morning. We got back to the Okelshaw's house still connected at both the hips and the lips and stumbled inside where we yet again started kissing only to be interuppted by Karen(Mrs. Okelshaw- Shit!) She laughed at us and I don't think she cared, Matt took me to my bedroom and kissed me goodnight for about 10 minutes!
