Chapter 13
The next day they Okelshaw's came over me spent almost the entire day at our house sunbathing and mucking around. They stayed for diner and then we all watched a movie after Matt asked if Andy and I would come over tomorrow and stay the night. As we were doing nothing else me agreed. The next day we went over at about 11. Andy and Matt wanted to go off and play football with some of their other friends so Lara and I went on a ride, Matt let me ride his horse. Then we went and sunbathed for awhile. Before I knew it was 5 so Lara, Andy and I went upstairs to watch a movie, Matt, Luke and my brother Josh went off somewhere I don't know. The movie finished at about 7 then Lara told us to stay where we were cos she had to get something. When she came back Matt was with her and they said we were going to go out to the movies. So Lara gave me some clothes to get changed into. I did my hair and make-up and then I was ready as was everyone else we started walking downstairs weirdly it was all dark as the lights were all off. We reached the bottom of the stairs I was holding Matt's hand when all of a sudden all the lights came back on and the room which was filled with teenagers who said surprise and then I looked up to see a banner saying 'Happy Birthday Zeb & Andy and Welcome' (Wow, I wasn't expecting this!) There was a marquee set up outside and so many people, I didn't even know. I spent the first hour or so of the party meeting people and speaking with those I had met before, then Matt and I just danced or abit until it became too stuffy so we went for a walk outside, I thanked him again for the party in more ways than one, we soon ended up walking along the road when we came to another huge house with a bench outside it so we stopped and sat down there. The bench was by a gate and a dog started barking from behind it, I looked at it and started crying, Matt got worried and asked me what it was, I said the dog looked exactly like my dog in Melbourne, Karma, that we had to leave behind. It wasn't the dog but just me being homesick for Melbourne. He smiled and hugged me for a while, then we started to walk back. When we went back to the party Prince William was there, I went over to talk to him and he had obviously had too much to drink cos he tried to kiss me and wouldn't let go of me when I pulled back, I told him he was too drunk and walked off, I turned back around to see him trying to kiss some other girl who had her boyfriend at her side. I decided to protect William from further embarrassment and tried to get him to go upstairs away from people, he wouldn't so summing up all the courage I had and knowing I would regret it, I whispered in his ear for him to come upstairs to the bedroom with me and then worst of all just to make sure he would come I licked his ear grabbed his hand and lead him upstairs, I signalled for Matt to come up with me. I put William in one of the spare rooms and told him to wait. I went out and told Matt, he couldn't stop laughing but agreed it was the right thing to have done and we decided to get his body guard who was outside to take him home. And he did but William was a bit difficult to get in the car but we managed, it was really funny. Soon after people started to leave so we helped clean up. Me and my brothers stayed the night at the Okelshaw's but had to leave early in the morning because everyone had to go to school on Sunday afternoon as classes started on Monday and we had to settle in so we went home and packed our stuff to take to school, we were only boarding weekly and would go home most weekends.
