Chapter 7
FINALLY!-SORRY IT TOOK SO LONG I WENT ON HOLIDAY FOR A MONTH!
After lunch we went to sit in our seats, they were VIP seats and in a good position, I was sitting next Wills and Matt again!(Yess!) When we came out all these cameras started flashing, I know they were taking them of William but as I was next to him I’d be in them so I couldn’t do anything wrong. Before the match which was between Rafter (Australia) and Rudeski (England) Wills started going on about how good Rudeski was and that he would win easily, of course I disagreed strongly and to settle it we placed a 10 pound bet! The game was really good! I got to know both the boys and both Matt and Wills were really funny and as they were friends both at Eton they were talking about people they knew and I didn’t so when they talked about someone they quickly tell me about them and then say if they’d be at the party tommorrow night which some guy from their class was having for the end of summer, Andy and I were invited so we could meet people which was really nice, how exciting! Back to the tennis, they both won two sets each then the Rafter won the fifth set 6-4! I now as I reminded William was 10 pounds richer, he swiftly swiped a note out of his pocket!-Geez I didn’t mean for him to give it to me then, but anyway, I was to nervous about the presentation to be worried and my brothers and I had to hurry down to the arena. When we got down there we had to stand on the stage as some guy talked then my dad said something and then I had to go forward and make the presentation, before I picked up the cup a guy with a microphone asked me what I had thought of the game, “I just glad the Aussie won!” I replied giving my sweetest grin. I shook Rafters hand then handed him the cup. He held the cup up in one hand and my hand up in another it was really exciting. Finally we had to go to the press-conference for ‘Britain’s Young Rich and Famous’ I was to go with my brothers, the Okelshaw boys and the two princes, I walked into the pressroom and everybody else was already there. They had started asking the youngest boys their questions, we were sitting in a row from youngest to oldest, while they were asking questions Matt whispered in my ear about how well I did, I said thanx. Before I knew it was my turn, the reporters were allowed to ask us each two questions and before we answered we had to check with our publicist if the question was OK to answer. My first question was how I liked England so far, I said that I really liked it and that the weather (how boring!) had been good (the one day I’d been in the country) Then they asked me what I had planned for my birthday next week, I said that we (Andy and I) had a party in Melbourne before we left so we probably wouldn’t do anything that much!(It was over for me!) They asked my brother and then Andy and William their questions and it was over completely!
