Americana Quit whining, take responsibility, think for yourself, question authority, don't believe the hype, stop being such a putz, for crissakes, and think about somebody other than yourself. This has been a public service message from the Offspring, whose latest sarcastic blast is a noisy primer of morality set to punk rock - typically played too fast and with what feels like grim determination. There's nothing else here quite like Pretty Fly (For a White Guy) - except maybe a hilarious recast of Feelings, but there's enough fun and musical variety to give style to the Offspring's substance.
