Jugular Street Luge Racing video game features Ixnay On The Hombre songs December 12, 1999: Now that The Offspring has almost finished up their Americana tour (last concert will be next Monday night in Mexico), the band's fans will be able to hear the group on a new video game, due to hit the stores on December 14th. The game is initially being released only in PC format. The game is called "Jugular Street Luge Racing" and will be published by Activision / HeadGames Entertainment. The band contributed the songs "All I Want," "Mota" and "Leave It Behind" from the 1997's "Ixnay On The Hombre" album for it. The game will spotlight two of America's fastest extreme athletes, Sean "The Duck" Mallard and Wade Sokol. For more info on this game, click here. Members of The Offspring are known for their love in extreme sports and stunts, you can see both guitarrist Noodles and drummer Ron Welty street luging in the band's Americana homevideo (released in 1998 by Nitro Records). The Offspring also helped to support a BMX jump-off competition held in Las Vegas, Nevada, before a concert of theirs at the House Of Blues (more details, click here). |
