Back to studio for sixth album July 21, 2000: The Offspring are currently on NRG Studio, in North Hollywood, California, recording their yet-untitled sixth album. After a 6 months break, interrupted only for some concerts (Dennis Danell benefit concert, BFD 7 and KROQ's Weenie Roast), the band's back to studio with producer Brendan O'Brien, who has already produced records by Rage Against The Machine, Pearl Jam, Stone Temple Pilots and Korn in addition to mixing records by Limp Bizkit, Soundgarden and Aerosmith. The untitled album is scheduled for a possible release in November. You can check out some photos and videos of the band in studio soon on their official website. The guys also have some iMac computer in studio, so they can be answering questions and beeing connected with the fans through their official site while recording the album. |
