Chapter Six
Kristi sat by my side. We were sitting nervously outside as Lacey and Mr. Rimer made
several offers to each other.
"You know, Brandon is mad I'm leaving him!" Kristi said, laughing. I looked
at her.
"That nerd is still hounding you?" I laughed. Brandon went to kindergarten
with us. He always bothered us about dating him. Each time we always replied. 'No Brandon
your just a friend!'. It's not that he wasn't good-looking it was because he was annoying.
He hounded us constantly. And when I moved away he cried, and sent me over 300 letters
in the first month I was away. I was 4 years old, I could even read yet, and he managed to
write letters to me. Kristi looked at me.
"He started to cry when I called him last night. I was laughing and he was
crying!" she told me, with a laugh. I raised an eyebrow, and when I was about to speak
three blonde heads appeared from around the corner. Kristi looked at me, her eyes full of
excitement.
"Hi guys!" I said, moving over so they could sit down. Zac blushed and sat
next to me. Isaac smiled at Kristi and made himself comfortable beside her. Taylor
examined the scene and fought his way by Zac and sat next to me. "Zac, meet Kristi!" I
said, introducing them. Last time Kristi came to visit, Zac was to young to remember. Isaac
was about 11 when she last came. I knew, that the first time Isaac saw Kristi he liked her.
She had brown hair, that had some blonde streaks in it. Her eyes were a shiny sea green,
and she had the fastest metabolism I had ever seen. She was way skinner then Taylor, and
believe me, I didn't fell very good when we stood near each other. I was skinny, but I
wasn't naturally skinny, I had to work my butt off to fit in a size 9! Zac smiled at Kristi
and shook her hand.
"Nice to finally meet you!" Kristi said, her hands shaking. Taylor elbowed
me, noticing how nervous she was. I looked at him.
"Don't forget Ike, and Tay!" I told her. Kristi smiled at them.
"How could I forget you guys?" she laughed, hugging Isaac and hugging
Taylor. Ike smiled at Kristi and his cheeks turned a soft shade of pink. I smiled and looked
out toward the road. Several people I knew for school rode by.
"Hey Justin!" I called, and waved to one particular boy. He turned and
smiled at me. Justin Corerria smiled and started to turn toward me, but I waved him away.
Taylor looked at me. "What?" I asked. Kristi taped me in the shoulder, and I turned
toward her, just as Lacey and Mr. Rimer stepped out onto the steps.
"Well girls, why don't you come in a chose your rooms!" Lacey announced.
My mouth fell open and I wanted to scream with happiness. Kristi and I invited the boys in,
and we ran upstairs. I walked into my old bedroom, and memories started to pour into my
mind. The image of my father reading me a bed time story popped into my head.
"Um, Kristi, you should take this room!" I said, quickly shutting my eyes and
pushing the memory out of my mind. Taylor walked up behind me and wrapped his arms
around my waist.
"You should check out the attic. They turned it into a huge room. It's got a
bathroom and all!" he whispered in my ear, kissing the back of my neck afterwards. I
smiled and turned into the hallway. I heard someone coming down the hall, so I pulled away
from Taylor.
"Kristi!" I called. "I'm getting the attic!" Kristi, Zac and Ike walked over to
us.
"OKay, I want the room in the basement anyways!" she said. Just then
Lacey walked toward us.
"I'm getting the bedroom down stairs!" she told us. I smiled.
"Hey, Lacey, did you realize we have 4 extra guest rooms!?" I told her.
Isaac smiled and looked at Kristi. She smiled and tapped Zac's shoulder.
"I need some people to help me carry my junk.. wanna help?" she asked him.
I smiled at them and pulled Taylor up the stairs and into the attic.
"This is away from everyone!" I said, placing Taylor's arms back around my
waist. He smiled and walked us over to the biggest window. "Oh, the perfect way to sneak
out in the middle of the night!" I said, turning my head and looking at him. He smiled and
followed my gaze the fire escape.
"Late night meetings, huh?" he asked. "It's not like I get enough sleep as it
is, and now this!" I laughed and placed my hands on his. We turned back toward the room,
and we viewed it.
"Your gonna help me design it right?" I asked. He's eyes sparkled and I
took that as I yes. Just as I was about to kiss him Lacey walked in.
"I, .. ugh.. sorry-" she said, stepping out of the room. I looked away from
Taylor.
"I guess we should go back to my house and start packing!" I said. Taylor
smiled and we walked outside. Lacey called to us on out, stating she'd be staying late. I
looked at Taylor and I noticed the look on his face. "We can't.. don't forget about the
others!" I said, smiling at him.
"Aww.. " he pouted as we walked upstairs, and into my room. I noticed how
the house was quiet. Just then I realized Kristi meant her stuff at the hotel. I also
realized we were alone.
"I guess being a couple, changes everything now!" I stated, speaking my
mind. I sat down on my bed, and Taylor followed. His cheeks were flushed and he looked
unbearably sexy.
"Yeah, it does. We can't even lay on the same bed without feeling weird!"
he said. I smiled and laid my head down on my pillow.
"I know. Jezz, if this were the 70's no one would be so uptight about sex!"
I stated. Taylor raised his eyebrow at my statement. He hesitantly laid down next to me.
"That's a change, you never used to be able to talk to me about sex
before!" he said. I looked at him and I felt my cheeks turn red. "See!" he pointed out.
"Stop!" I said, feeling alittle bit embarrassed. "That was because I wasn't
sure what you would think of me.. so I didn't say anything!" I told him. Taylor smiled,
revealing his dimples. He moved closer to me and kissed my neck. Inside I felt kinda of
weird. I expected my dad to walk in and stop us! I sighed and turned my attention to
Taylor. "You know, we just started going out a few days ago!" I whispered to him, I
couldn't manage to raise my voice above that. He said something in reply, but it was lost in
my hair. "Tay, c'mon we have to pack!" I said, immediately regretting saying it. As he
stopped and pulled away, I placed my hands on his back and pushed him toward me. He
looked confused and waited for me to kiss him. So I did. We kissed softly, both relaxing
into each other's arm. "Sorry about that, I was alittle freaked out!" I whispered to him,
and he kissed my earlobe.
"It's OKay, I wouldn't push you into doing anything you didn't want to do!"
he said softly. Taylor kissed down my neck and then found his way back up to my mouth.
I've wanted this to happen for so long and it finally is going to!

Isaac walked out of the hotel bathroom and smiled. Zac and Kristi sat side by side
reading a magazine. "It's great to see your going to be staying here...it would be a shame if
you had to back to Atlanta!!" he said. Kristi felt awkward and looked at Isaac.
"Ugh??...Thanks;..I think!" she said. Zac, secretly wasn't reading the
magazine, he was sneaking secret glances at Kristi. He couldn't help but realize how pretty
she was. Her smile was perfect and she had the greatest laugh. Kristi looked over at Zac.
"I believe that's all of it. We really should be going!" she said. Just than the phone rang.
All three of them jumped. Kristi reached over and picked up the tan phone. "Hello?" she
asked. Lacey smiled.
"Good, your still there!"
"Oh hi mom!" Kristi said.
"If it's not to much of a problem-could you pack some of my junk up... I
need to run to the mall and pick stuff up for the party tomorrow!" Lacey said.
"Sure mom, it's no problem..!" Kristi said, secretly thanking her mom for
allowing her to spend more time with Zac.
"Thanks sweetie! I'll bring home pizza around 7:30, so try to hold out
OKay?! Don't forget when your done, all of you go back to the house. Tay & Amanda are
there...." her voice trailed off, and she shook away the possible that popped into her head
that second.
"OKay.. bye!" Kristi said, hanging up the phone. "That was mom, she wants us
to pack her stuff up, and when we're done we have to go back to the home!" she said. Zac
smiled.
"Awesome.." his eyes fell on a video game that stuck out of the
entertainment system. "Does this room have Play Station?" he questioned. Zac always had
a wild dream to play video games with a gorgeous girl! Isaac smiled and sat on a chair
infront of the entertainment system. Kristi smiled.
"Are you guys up for the challenge?" she challenged. Minutes later Kristi
had forgotten her whole conversation with her mother.

I closed my eyes, and waited for Taylor's next move. Taylor stopped, his body
tensing up.
"Do you really...." he trailed off. I raked my mind. I wasn't sure. I knew I
loved Taylor, and everyone always said wait for the one you love.
"I've wanted to for a long time... but I'm scared!" I admitted softly. I felt
my body warm up. Taylor's body rested half on mine, he supported himself with his right
arm. He looked at me, his lips moist and his body shaking.
"So am I.. we are so young..." he trailed off. I noticed the distant look on
his face. "But.. age doesn't bother me. You know how parents are always ragging on us,
'wait til you get older', 'wait for the one you love'...well I'm almost 16, and..I.uh..you!" he
said. My mind sighed and I looked him.
"What do we do? Are we.. or are we going to wait!" I said, caressing his
cheek with my thumb. He smiled nervously and leaned down to kiss me. Our lips barely
touched, when I felt his hands rest on my waist. I nuzzled his face, and kissed a certain
area on his neck. What do I do? Where do I put my hands? How do a lay? I asked myself. I
was completely in love with Taylor, and I knew this would happen- RINGGGGG! RINGGGG!
my phone rang, interupting my thoughts. Both of us relaxed quickly and I reached for the
phone.
"Hello?" I asked. I was happy the phone stopped us, I was too confused and
I wasn't sure if I wanted to go through with it.
"Amanda? It's Diana, is Isaac with you?" she asked. Hearing Mrs. Hanson's
voice on the other side of the line freaked me out.
"Um no.. but Taylor is!" I said, pushing some hair behind Taylor's ear.
"May I speak with him please?" she asked.
"Sure!" I shoved the phone in Taylor's direction. 'Who is it?' he mouthed.
'Your mother!' I said back. His face fell slightly and he placed the phone up to his ear.
"Hello? Mom?" he asked.
"Hey sweetie. We are going to spent the night at Uncle Barry's house, the
kids are here, and I was calling to find out if Lacey will let you stay there for the night!"
Diana said.
"Let me check!" he said, covering the phone. 'She wants us to stay here for
the night!' he mouthed. I felt scared for a second and it passed. 'Tell her you can! Lacey's
in the shower and I just asked her!'
"Lacey's in the shower, but Amanda just asked her, and she said we can!
She'll give us a ride home tomorrow!" Taylor lied. I smiled at him, giving him the 'its OKay
to lie!' look. He smiled.
"Alright sweetie- tell the others I said good-night, thank Lacey.. and I'll
see you tomorrow!" Diana said.
"OKay mom! Bye!" Taylor said, quickly hanging up. "Whoa, I don't think we
can pull this off!" he said, falling onto the bed roughly. I pushed his hair behind his ear so I
could see his face, and I kissed behind his ear.
"We will!" I assure him. "I'm positive!" Secretly I'm hoping, actually praying
we could pull this off!
