I have chosen two items here. The reel is a class Fladen reel which was being sold off at a discounted price because the capacity printed was incorrect. This Fladen beachcaster rod is just an ordinary 3 piece beachcaster/ledger type, A super value 3 piece Beach casting rod built on a composite blank and designed for use with fixed spool reels. Fold down first guide for easy storage, Ceramic lined guides throughout, Graphite reel seat, Hi-vis tip for enhanced bite detection and supplied in a cloth bag. Recommended casting weight 3-9 oz (100 - 250g)
A great action at a budget price. It is 14 feet in length - 14 feet! - I reckon on casting an extra 20 yards, every time! Not many 14ft rods about, and certainly not for this price. Drawbacks - Its heavy to stand and hold, its cumbersome, until you get used. But it will get big baits out a long way!! £15.00
