Welcome to our home for the holidays

--> Christmas is my all time favorite Holiday.
It is the time of year when love and friendsihp
abound. A time when Peace and giving are top
priorities in our lives. The feelings that
ya get when a child or grandchild opens that
special gift on Christmas morning.
Oh there is nothing like it!

This Christmas is a little different for me and
my family. Every Christmas Eve we go to my Dad's
and celabrate the Holiday with our family
Ever since we lost my Mom in 1986 from cancer we
have continued our holidays at Dads.
My brothers and cousins and all the kids.
We listen to Christmas music and eat special delights
that someone made with love and then exchange our
gifts. The house is always filled with love
and the spirit of Christmas fills the air.
It's the one time a year when we all get along.
To me Christmas at Dad's is what Christmas means. He loved it so.

May 2,2000 my Dad passed away.
I spent many hours by his side in that intensive care
unit at the hospital.
Watching him, comforting him, and giving him my
all until his last minutes here with us.
I was with him when he passed. A promise I made
him and glad that I was able to keep.
I wanted to be there at the end no matter
how hard and heart breaking it was.
I owed him that and much more.

I wanted to make this Christmas Tribute for him.
He can look down and see that the spirit of Christmas
is within my heart.
I miss him so dearly!
