What Does Jay Wear?
Here is an article all about Jay Gordon's Wardrobe, from Teen People Magazine 1999. It's called *Star Wear*. Look at the picture above and find the numbers on the clothes, to see what each paragragh is talking about.
1. White Wash- "The white thing is what I wore in the video for "Stitches." It's really cool-and it's really dirty right now-but I love it. It's very modern, even though it's filthy. [Our Designer] Karen Betzold came up with it. We tell her exactly what we want, and she contributes her ideas."
2. Walking Tall- "I bought these Diesel jeans on Sixtienth Street[in NYC]. My guitar player Ryan Shuck-he's the one who got into the Fanker cut of pants, and he was the first to turn the band on to it. I'm definitly down with dressy stuff. You can set off a certain mystery by dressing up."
3. Strapped In- "This carries my cell phone and all my other junk. I hate having all sorts of stuff in my pockets. It carries my wallet, random stuff-gum, trinkets, bracelets, glasses-and there's a nice shoulder strap, so there's easy access to the phone."
4. Web Wear- "I got that at an amusement park. I was at Universal Studios in Orlando. I'm a Spiderman fan more than a fan of arachnids."
5. Moon Walk- "You don't focus on them as much when they're all taped up. They look more like NASA than they do tennis shoes. I wear them onstage because they're easy and you can move around in them."
6. Couch Potato To Go- "I had the wardrobe case custom made with the subwoofer and the receiver and speakers on both sides and a VCR and stuff. I got this one made not too long ago. It also has PlayStation and N64. My favorite game is Tekken 3."
7. Kung Fu Shopping- "I got this in some store in Ohio. I'm a big Bruce Lee fan. I like alot of things about all of his movies. Chinese Connection and Enter the Dragon would be my two favorites."
8. Fast-Foward- "It's a random shirt you can buy on Melrose [in L.A.]. I wear that onstage quite often. Fans get mad if I don't wear it enough. 'You should wear that orange-pink shirt 'cause it's a weird color!' I like what it says-'Kiss the Future.' I have three of theses shirts. Orgy's all about the future, basically."

Platforms and Creepers
Shoes!!. What are those platform thingys they wear? They are called creepers. They are very styley, I've seen creepers in black, white, black and white, black with flames, with leopard prints, and even red white and blue creepers. Above is a picture of some creepers from PunkShop.com. Aren't they funky? I'm planning on getting a pair, they will match any color pants.
