MYRTLE PORTER was a very creative lady, in her earlier days she could go out in the woods and shoot a squirrel and whip up a meal for her family.Or if she had notion she could go out in the back yard and build a shed or anything else she wanted.Or sew a outfit for one of her children from items she had on hand. She was good at making something from nothing.
She married Herman Porter and together they raised five children.
