Cana was a town in the highlands of Galilee, a few miles/kilometers north of Nazareth. Although no longer in existence (the precise location of Cana is today not known with certainty) and mentioned only four times in the Bible, all in the book of John, it will be forever famous as the place where the first public miracle of Jesus Christ occurred. The healing of the nobleman's dying son was also done from Cana.
