Dothan, from the Hebrew meaning two wells, was an ancient town in the tribal territory of Manasseh (see Tribal Lands), west of the Jordan River, northeast of the city of Samaria, southeast of Megiddo (see Armageddon). The town, which was the scene of a number of important events in Bible history, is today a ruin.
