Whoa there Kimosabi. You wanna adopt a Caitiff?!? Now theres a thing. Ya see, we don't usually do things like that. After all, some of 'em may be ours due to mistakes in embracing, but we look after our own. Train them up, make sure their just right. Taking on a Caitiff is an unknown quantity. You just don't know what your gettin' till it all goes wrong.

You STILL interested? Well.....

Firstly, watch the Caitiff. Hunt them, like you would a prospective Childe. Follow them, watch they don't see you. Make sure they're not up to anything you don't know about. How many Caitiff you know who actually turned out to be Assamite? I can think of 3 in the past year. And god knows how many are ex / current Sabbat members. Watch out.

Your gonna pay for their crimes if they decide to betray us. You've been warned.

Now your REALLY sure they're legit. Check again. You can never be to careful. Ask around.

So your absolutely, positivley, definately sure they're the one. Don't say I didn't warn you. Right, go and make a formal request to your Domain's Primogen. Present them with all the evidence you've gained to show that they're not gonna go A.W.O.L. or turn Sabbat. If you can be sure, then your Primogen should be too. If not, then maybe you should think again.

If your Primogen clears it, you'll need to take the evidence to your regional Journeyman or Ranger. Talk to them. Offer them the evidence and if possible, bring them the possible recrute. They will have the power to tell for sure whether the Caitiff should be one of the Wanderers.

If they agree, then ask them to take the request to Lu-py-ee, our Clan Speaker. Our leader has final say on whether or not the Caitiff should be one of us. He may ask for a debt or boon to be paid to him or the Clan, as is his right, if he feels the potential Clan member needs to prove it's fealty.

If our lord Lu-py-ee grants permission for the Childe to be adopted, then you are truely blessed. Which means it's time for a party.

Take the new member of the Clan back to your Domain, and host a Gather. Invite the local Gangrel and celebrate the newest addition to our Clan. It's a time to celebrate. Gather, sing and enjoy your time together.
