He was raised in Yukon, Oklahoma.

Troyal Brooks, his mother's name is Colleen. He was the youngest
in his family of six children. He has a sister named Betsy and 4
brothers named Jim, Jerry, Mike, and Kelly.

Garth Currently lives on a farm north of Nashville
in Goodlettsville, TN; He likes to call his farm
"Some Day Valley"

Garth married his wife Sandy on May 24th,1986.They have three beautiful little girls...Taylor Mayne Pearl (7/8/92), August Anna(5/3/94),and Allie Colleen(7/28/96).

George Strait and George Jones were Garth's biggest musical
influences. Some others are Chris LeDoux, Kiss, Journey,
James Taylor, Billy Joel, and Queen.
