It all started back in June 1998. Before Fernando Ventura did the phone interview with Isaac. Well, that was when they were still "fair" to Hanson. Anyway..Fernando (the DJ) said that he WASNT going to play Hanson for the "Hot 9 at 9" because this girl e-mailed him 100 times requesting "Weird"..so he was on his little Hanson strike. Trust me, that girl that e-mailed him. was NOT me..hehe..So, later that night, he gave that girls e-mail address out, over the air and told everyone that was listening to e-mail her and tell her that she ruined it for everyone. He shouldnt have done that in the first place. When it came time for the "Hot 9 at 9", guess who he played? HANSON. He said "Im going to play Hanson just because Im a nice guy". Oh come on! Puh-lease. Okay, so he did that...
Thennnn...a couple weeks later, someone called and requested Hanson...he said he didnt like Hanson so he wouldnt play them. :( I turned up the radio and Fernando said to this guy that called in "Ugh, is this about Hanson? They are TRANSSEXUALS!" After he said that, I was ready to EXPLODE. I tried calling their main office to tell them that they shouldnt be talking like that...ugh..I was soooo mad! But my luck, they were closed. So the next morning my mom called and the Program Manager said to my mom that he would talk to Fernando about that.. My newest enemy..Kevin Scott...I call him Kevin Snott. haha Well, you e-mail him to request Hanson and he wont be shy to e-mail you back and tell you that "Hanson Sucks". I mean, keep it to yourself. So since they dont play Hanson for very dumb resons like "we dont have a market for them" or "nobody requests them..and their songs are old"...we're going to protest on Sunday, March 14th in front of their office in San Francisco. It makes me mad when they say Hanson has old songs, because you should really hear the old CRAP they play on there! Stuff from the EARLY 90'S! Thats just an excuse. So we're going down there..in full force to get our point out. I will be sure to put up pictures and stuff from that day. So check back for that..And know whats funny? Everyone in San Francisco that likes Hanson, feels the same!! Thats the best part, to know WE ARENT ALONE!
