HUGH'S STAR MAN AWARD this week goes again to that man Sean Long, who again
HUGH'S ARSEHOLE AWARD this week goes to Paul Newlove's first 70 minutes,
Kieron Cunningham didn't seem to be having a great game either, I only saw him run once
Well done Saints, and I'll keep my fingers crossed for a Saints Vs Wigan Final.
So, it's Toodle Pip again for another week, I'd better go bugger Mrs Janus now.

an exciting game. "What're you on about woman" I replied as I ducked under her
massive punch, "The Grandstand finish?, Sean Long's brilliant display?, Chris Joint's
long awaited return to form?, or do you really want me to bugger you?".
"No you stupid fat get", she said lovingly, "You buggered off in such a rush - that you
forgot to take me to the game!"
"Oh!" I said as I cowered behind the kids, "I did wonder what that feeling of elation and
joy was tonight, I thought it was all down to Saints getting through to the Final."
better get this "Match Report" done, otherwise Sadfish will want to bugger ME!
first half. Fantastic performances from Flowers and Critchley (Is he available??) and
even Mike Ford (who hasn't he played for?) had a decent game. I feel that they put their
all into a first half display in which Saints could not match their aggressive
attacking and faultless defence.
staying power (unlike me) to push through when it counts. Some superb tries scored
(by both sides) made this one of the most exciting matches seen at Knowsley Road
all season. The "Grandstand Finish" was just what was needed to get the crowd
going - it was great to hear us getting behind the boys again - and well done too to
the Cas' supporters who were singing and dancing their team along to victory (for a
while), still, I suppose it beats shagging sheep on a cold Friday evening.
was jinking and dummying his way to a superb all round performance, and what a
bloody corker of a try he scored, this man can do no wrong, until next season when
he asks for a pay rise (why did the Pies let him go ???)
A close second was Christopher Joint, who seems to be coming somewhere near his old
form again - keep it up Chris, Apollo had a decent game with plenty of "big busts",
and the two Tonys' on the wings had decent efforts too.
when he looked like he just couldn't be arsed at all, with lacklustre tackling and
running forward like a big girl's blouse, he played like a pussy for the first 70 minutes
- with a price tag of £500,000 on his head, I expect him to score every time he
touches the ball, not great value for money when you consider we bought Sully for
about 3 shekels and a large bag of mouldy cheese .
A very close second was Alan Hunte, who had a nightmare of a game, missing tackles
galore, and just itching for a fight - I reckon he cost us about 25 points tonight!!
from dummy half in the 1st half, but he soon made up for it in the second with some
great forward running. Chris Morley (FOR SALE!) nuff said.
I can't end without a special mention to my mate Danny Arnold, who again wins this
week's DICKHEAD AWARD - just for being there.
