3 weeks later, Amy had completely healed, and Kendall was still on crutches, but was only 2 days away form getting off of them. They had to go to physical therapy for a few weeks, 3 times a week. The rest of the time in between was either being tutored, or hanging out with the Hansons.
"Wanna watch a movie?" Amy asked, laying on Kendall's bed with her arms as limp as a ragdolls'.
"Yeah... Forest Gump?" Kendall suggested.
"Yeah... We never did finsih it the last time was watched it, did we?" Amy smirked.
"That was like, in March... No, it was April." Kendal shrugged. "Sarah's birthday party."
"I'll get the movie..." Amy rushed out of the room, quickly grabbing the white box, then running back down to Kendall's room and putting the back box into the slot. A minute later, a hippy scene appeared with Forest talking on the microphone.
2 hours later...
^ringring^
Kendall grabbed the phone, almost falling over in the process.
"Hello?"
"Hey Kendall!" a cheerful voice replied.
"Hey Zac! What's up?" she asked.
"Well, Taylor and I are going to go to the mall... Twelve Oaks?... Anyways, wanna come with us? You can show us around." Zac asked.
"I can't really... I'm on crutches. But Amy might wanna go." Kendall covered up the receiver really quick. "You wanna go to the mall with Taylor and Zac?" she asked.
"And you?" Amy asked.
"No... I do not feel like being starred at." Kendall shot Amy a look. "Zac you there?"
"Yeah... Do you wanna?"
"I said no!"
"Kendall, I'll carry you if I need to! But you're comin'." Zac laughed. Kendall sighed in defeat.
"Fine."
"Good. Pick you guys up in 10, k? See ya." Zac hung up the phone.
"We're goin' to the mall!" Amy grinned, jumping up and down on Kendall's bed.
20 minutes later...
"We're here..." Amy pointed to a large, spread out 2 story building, while Taylor sharply turned the car to the left, making the car drive on two wheels for a moment.
"God Taylor! Killed anything lately?" Zac teased.
"Nothing but your sense of adventure..." Taylor parked, almost hitting the car in front of them.
"A porshe. You are sooo lucky you know how to use the brakes." Amy rolled her eyes.
"Haha. Come on..." the group got out of the car, and Zac got Kendall's crutches for her. She smiled, and took them gratefully.
As they walked through the entrance, Taylor's mouth dropped opened. "This is a pretty big mall! God, it's like 2 times the size of the one we had in Tulsa!" he said. Zac nodded in agreement.
"Ohhh the little kids play thing!" Amy pointed and grinned. "Can I? Oh please please please!" she begged, getting on her hands and knees. Taylor laughed, then shooed her off. He grinned as he led Zac and Kendall towards one of the benches so Kendall could take a break.
"I swear to God... everytime we come here, she always has to play on that thing for like 10 minutes! But there's a Sam Goody's right there, so if you want..." Kendall trailed off, after pointing the guys in the direction of the music store.
Seconds later, the two rushed out, being chased after by 3 girls who were screaming at the top of their lungs. Kendall laughed, and Amy almost fell of the big red crayon *hehe* from laughing so hard.
The two rushed over and quickly sat down next to Kendall, while Amy started laughing and ran over to them, pretending to be a teeny bopper.
"Ohmigod! It's Tay Hanson! Tay-Tay, can I have your autograph?" she squealed along.
Taylor rolled his eyes at her, and took the piece of paper from a blond girl no taller the 5 feet.
"What's your name?" he asked.
"Carrie!" she squealed. Amy's eyes bulged, as Kendall and her exchanged looks. Amy stepped up to the girl. "Your name wouldn't be Carrie Light *;o)* now, would it?" Carrie smiled, and looked from Kendall to Amy.
"Kendall and Amy! Ohmigod, I have not seen you guys for... sheesh, months!" she giggled.
"And why, may I ask, were you running after Taylor Hanson?" Kendall asked.
Carrie shrugged. "Cuz I felt like it."
Amy laughed. "Only you would, only you would."
"And why aren't you running and screaming after them?" Carrie asked, hands on hips.
"Cuz we happen to know them personal." Kendall grinned. Carrie clamped her mouth shut, and walked away.
"That's Carrie for ya." Amy laughed.
