Part 5
It was 2 weeks after Kendall and Amy's parents had agreed to let the girls go on tour with the guys, and the day before they left.
Kendall and Amy were in Kendall's room, packing what they thought they would need on their trips. Amy held up an Offspring teeshirt, deciding whther or not she should bring it.
"Yes or no?" she asked.
"Umm... No." Kendall answered, her voice muffled from the box her head was in.
"Uhh, Kenni... We're not moving... We CAN wash our cloths." Amy pointed out, trying not to laugh at Kendall's 3 suitcases full of clothing. "And do you even own that much?"
"Yup, I certainly do!" Kendall grinned.
Amy shooked her head, holding up 2 duffel bags. "This is all I need... Plus another bag for stuff we're going to pick up... And do you need help with that?" Amy laughed.
Kendall nodded. "Please?"
The next hour was spent trying to sort Kendall's clothing into piles of bring and not to bring, not a simple task. By the time they were all packed, it was a quarter to 10.
"Think we should get some shut eyes?" Kendall asked, grinning.
"Sure, like we're actualy gonna be able to sleep tonight!" Amy rolled her eyes.
20 minutes later, the two had gotten ready for bed, and were now talking softly to each other.
"What do you think this tour's gonna be like?" Kendall asked.
"I don't know... Ya know what? This is like something outta one of those fan fiction stories on the net!" Amy giggled.
"I know! But, hey, it has to happen to someone, right? We just happend to be a little lucky." Kendall grinned.
"I'm gonna miss my dad sooo much though! I'm not gonna be able to see him for God knows how long." Amy said quietly.
Kendall leaned over the edge of her bed, patting her friend on the back. "I'm sure everything'll turn out ok. I'm totally looking forward to this... I've had 13 years worth of my mom's and dad's yelling..." Kendall trailed off.
"I am so glad that the guys like Motown! I honestly think that I could not live without Diana Ross, the Jackson 5... Marvin Gaye I could probably do without, but still..." Amy chuckled.
The next morning, around 5, the Carter's doorbell rang, and Kendall ran to open it.
"Hey there! Are you guys ready to go?" Isaac asked. Behind him were Taylor, Zac, and Mackie.
"I'm gonna help you with your baggage, ladies!" Mackie grinned, holding up his two hands. Kendall smiled, and ushered the 4 in.
They had reduced Kendall's load to two suitcases and two extra duffelbags, so it wasn't too hard to carry them out into the awaiting van.
Once they had reached Metro Detroit Airport, they had to run to the gate, since they were a half an hour late (highways are actually pretty busy at 5 am in MI). They hadn't goten recognized yet, so they were thankful for that. Mrs. Hanson had taken Mackie and Zoe by the hand, while the rest of the bunch followed closely behind.
When they had gotten onto the plane, Zoe fell right asleep, leaning on Mr. Hanson. Jessie, Avery, and Mackie were seated together, then Amy, Isaac, and Taylor were seated in one row, with Zac, Kendall, and Jason (their bodyguard) in the seat in front of them.
They were first flying in to Tulsa, to gather up roadies and musicians. A week later, they would play their first sold out show of the "Boys of 2000" tour. They had sold out venues all over the world, all of the fans waiting for Hanson's comeback.
"Hey Isaac?" Amy asked, looking at one of the inflight magazines.
"Yeah?"
"What does this say?" she asked, pointing to something written down on a sheet of paper the was on top of one of the pages of the magazine.
Isaac squinted, then smiled. "There is no way in heck you're gonna get me to say that."
"Well then, I guess I'll just have to kill ya." Amy barred her front canines, which were long and pointy *this is actually true*. Isaac leaned back as far as he could, trying to get away from her.
"God girl! What's up with your teeth?" he exclaimed.
Kendall turned around and grinned. "Is she showing you her fangs? God... I swear, she was a vampire for Halloween one year, and she convinced the whole neighborhood that she was real. It was funny!" Kendall laughed.
"Oh God. Kendall once dyed her hair... Never mind." Amy shrunk back.
"What?" Isaac laughed, while Kendall continued on laughing.
"Nothing..." Kendall and Amy said at the same time, once again bursting out into giggles.
"I won't ask." Isaac grinned. Taylor suddenly took of the headphones that were resting on his head, and Kendall could her the Kid Rock music blarring out of it.
"Neither will I." he said, putting the headphones back into place.
"Ohhh... Good idea. Ain't nothing but a heartache... Ain't nothing but a mistake... I never wanna hear you say... I want it that way!" Amy all but yelled.
"No, I've got it! She's in to superstitions... Black cats and voodoo dolls... I feel a premenision... That girl's gonna make me fall..." Kendall sang, laughing.
"Upside inside out! Livin' la vida loca! She push and pull you down! She's living la viva loco! Her lips and devil rays and her skin's the color mocoa! She will wear you out... She's livin' la viva loca!" They had a bunch of the teenagers on the plane (mostly male) singing along with them, when all of the sudden, a lady who was twitching nervously screamed.
"I can't take it anymore! Troy, why did you leave me and our little boy alone! Why did you do this to me? To us? WHY?!" she yelled, crying hysterically.
A flight attendent immediately tried to calm her down, but the woman was so hysterical that she had to be placed in the very back of the plane so she could have time to cool down.
"Umm..." Zac said, shrugging.
"I won't ask." Taylor grinned.
