" God it feels great to be home." Lisa said as she sat down on her bed for the first time in 3 months.
" Well it's the same as it was when you left." Brandi said.
" Yeah thanks…" Lisa replied.
" well I guess Im gonna go downstairs…just call if you need any thing."
" yeah I will." Lisa said as Brandi left. She got up and walked across her room where a picture of Zac was kept. She picked it up and ran her fingers across it as if she was try-n to touch his face. She missed what they had, but she knew it would be to hard for him to be back with her so she left well enough alone.
"Where are you going in such a rush?" Brandi asked Clarissa as she grabbed her purse and keys.
" To see Ike." She replied as she walked out the door and into her car. She couldn't believe she was pregnant. She wasn't ready for a baby. But that wasn't all that was on her mind, what ran through her mind night and day was…was it Ike's baby? She knew what she had done while they were in Hawaii and she was so scared that it wasn't his and that it was …oh she couldn't even bear to say his name. What would she tell Ike? She slowly pulled into the drive. I dunno why I just didn't walk to his house its right across the street. She thought to herself. She slowly got out the car and walked inside.
" Hey baby." Ike said with a smile as he sat at his desk looking through some papers.
" whatcha do-n?" Clarissa asked him.
" Just looking through some of this stuff…I have to put the band back on a budget now that we're coming back…know what I mean." He meekly said putting his pen down…" So whats up?" He asked pulling her in close.
" Uh…we need to talk." She said pulling away.
" About what?" he asked sitting down now with is eyes locked on her.
" umm…I think you need to know something…
" It was now about 12:30 and he knew he had to be at work at 1:00 so he slowly got dressed. God he didn't want to go back to work. Soon enough though he wouldn't have to because he'd be doing what he loved the most…music. He walked downstairs to see Brandi covered from head to toe in dirt.
" What are you doing?" He asked as she brushed her long brown hair from her face.
" Oh hi…haha…Im planting more roses out side by the pool." She said with a smile on her dirt covered face.
" You look like you take-n a dirt bath to me." Tay said joke-n.
"Funny…" she said sarcastically.
"Not as funny as you look right now!" Tay said laughing.
"HEY!…" She yelled…"so where you off to today." She asked.
" Oh…I have to work today."
" Oh yeah I forgot…sorry." She said walking out the door. Taylor followed her.
" well I guess I'll see ya in a few…" He said as he kissed her on top of her head.
" Bye!" She called to him as he walked around to he front of the house. Taylor drove to work in silence and when he finally got there he pulled around to the back and parked like he always used to do. He walked inside to the sound of Collective Soul being played on the loud speaker and did what he usually did while he was working.
" Yeah go ahead…" Ike replied.
" I'm…I'm uh pregnant." She said with her head down low.
"Your what?"Ike asked as he jumped out of his seat.
"I know Im just…." She tried to say…
" That's GREAT!!" Ike hollered as he stood up to hug her.
" What?" Clarissa asked confused as she push Ike off.
" But…Hunny that's good…We can start a family of our own…" He said trailing off.
" That's not all…" Clarissa continued.
" Well what is it…don't keep me waiting.." Ike said with a smile.
"Theres a chance…umm…Ike I love you so much….god…" Clarissa said now in tears.
" What is it…a chance for what?" Ike said as he hugged her.
" That the baby isn't yours…" She whispered into his ear as tears flowed from her eyes. Ike didn't know how to react to this. He stepped back away from her to look her in the face…
" What the hell are you try-n to say?" Ike asked now with no facial expression at all.
" Ike please I was drunk…I didn't mean to…" Clarissa said as she walked toward him but he just backed up…" please baby I love you…" She said reaching for his arms but he grabbed her hands before they could touch him.
" I don't wanna see you right now…" Ike said not with an inch of hatred in his voice.
" Ike please!" Clarissa screamed falling to her knees as tears flew from her face…" I didn't mean to…" she whispered to herself as she sat there on the floor watching Ike walk away…
"COME IN!" Lisa yelled to the knock at her door…"oh…hey Zac"
"Hey…how you feeling?" He asked as he walked across the room where she was at taking posters off her wall.
"Im ok." She replied.
"Whatcha do-n that for?" He asked referring to the posters.
"Well …I just need a new change..ya know…for the new me!" She said with a smile.
"So whatcha do-n today?" Zac asked.
" I thought I'd just stick around in my room awhile and throw some stuff out. Out with the old and in with the new!!" Lisa said throwing an old shoe out her closet.
"haha…well if ya change your mind just call me." Zac said as he walked out the door.
Well as we all know tonight was the big date with Jasa. Oh boy was he nervous. He didn't know what to wear nor what to say to her when he picked her up. Well I guess you'll just have to keep reading to find out about this and what happens with Ike and Clarissa…
