The Star Blvd Transloader is a free service
for webtv users.When you have accessed a file
that you want for your page, such as an
image, click on the image, press your goto
button on your keyboard (or the options
button on your remote, then goto) and enter
the URL
transload.starblvd.net. You will now see
"Last
Visited URL" , which should be the URL of the
image or
file you want to upload to your site. If it
is, click the teardrop beneath it, which
automaticlly enters it in the "Source URL"
section. If it is not the right URL, you may
manually enter the URL in the Source URL
section. For the file to then be uploaded to
your site, enter your ftp address (for example
ftp.geocities.com) in the "target ftp" area enter your user name and
password and click transload. Done! For
Angelfire users,
you must log in as anonymous (user name), and your
password must be entered as your email
address (weird, huh?) You must also enter which directory you'll be using, in your case, enter /incoming for your directory.
Also, you must
immediately return to your Angelfire file
manager, type in the nae of the file, and
click "transfer from ftp". Its a pain, but I
like Angelfire.
To transload a real audio file, it may be
hard to figure out a song's URL. Tofind ot
its exact address, play thesong and while its
playing, click goto once again, and click
show last, which will tell ou the exact URL!
