I'll tell you why. They are a poor pathetic excuse for Punk music, in fact, they are not punk music AT ALL, they are mearly power pop music, and feel proud that they are given that.
People who think Blink 182 are one of the best bands on earth, you narrow mined fucks! listen to some led zeppelin you fucking ass!
Tom Delonge is the worst guitar player on earth, HEY LOOK AT ME! I KNOW THE C CHORD!! Their music has NO basic song structure, AT ALL, it has the SAME bass line and chord progression in every single song they've ever released.
There are a lot of people out there who are under the impression that Blink 182 are talented musicians. These are the people who look at you with a blank face when you mention "Hendrix" or "Vai" and I know that for a fact. Also, these people have never picked up a guitar (or any instrument for that matter) or actually ever seen someone play one, so when they hear "all the small things" on the radio they listen in awe as if God is talking to them. It's disgusting. I go to school with a lot of idiot who crank up 2, 3 maybe 4 power chords and just repeat them over and over again. Get a life, please, and learn some Old school Offspring.

Punk is suppose to be underground, not highly popular and 60% of the music today is punk. no, its power pop, mearly. Punk is dead, ok? stop calling "new" bands punk... infact, look up the word "punk" in the dictionary. Actually...Don't, I just did my self and it appears that the dicionary dosn't exactly have what I have seen in other dictionary, so you might not have it either. I hate you punk lovers. Leather and chains in the METAL scene, look at Van Halen and Old school metal like Anthrax.
