Never, ever, ever hit, spank or tap with one finger! I cannot stress that enough. To do so will cause your bunny to start a biting habit in self-defense. Instead of physical discipline, use verbal reprimands such as “EEK!” or “NO!”
The best thing a rabbit owner can do for their rabbit and themselves is be responsible and have their rabbit spayed or neutered. This will prevent future pains, especially if more than one rabbit is owned. Unneutered males will fight each other, and spray everything in sight, and unneutured male and female will do the inevitable: breed. The best thing to do is leave the breeding up to the breeders.
