The fire burns hot.
Look at what seems to be.
It's such a pitiful lot.
Sickness and disease knock at each door.
"Lord, what's the matter here?"

He takes off in flight but not to escape.
He doesn't try to fly away.
The clouds rumble and roll.
The lightnings flash and roar.
His wings are spread in confidence
for he knows how to soar.
