Our vacation

This year we took the grandkids to Hawaii. It was Mandy's second trip and Amy and Megan's first trip. Shelly went to help take care of the girls. What a sacrifice she had to make, giving up her summer vacation to babysit the girls in Hawaii!!!

The Mighty Mo

Ken had to have his picture taken with the USS Missouri. The USS Missouri is facing with her bow toward the USS Arizona memorial. It is a fitting tribute to the beginning and end of the most awesome conflict the world has ever seen. We took a morning cruise by Diamond Head to Pearl Harbor. It was one of the highlights of the trip! We even had dolphins swimming along side for a while!

The girls really loved the cruise that we took!

Climbing Diamond Head

Ken, Shelly and the girls decided to climb up Diamond Head crater one morning. Shelly and the girls made it all the way. Ken stopped just short of the top!

We really enjoy the pictures with Diamond Head in the background! These are taken from the top of the Punchbowl crater on Father's Day after church.

Ken and JoAnn had a relaxing morning on the cruise!

These were taken on our sight-seeing trip around the island of Oahu. The first was taken at Makapuu Point.

This one was taken at Bellows Air Force Base beach. It is one of the prettiest beaches! And not at all crowded. We loved playing in the water here!
