Mrs. Hanson Encounters

Amanda's Encounter

At about 4PM on July 31, 1998 my mom and I left to go to the Hanson concert at the New World Music Theatre in Tinley Park, IL. It took us 3 hours to drive there. When we got to the theatre my mom bought me a shirt and I went to go find my seat. It took me forever to find my seat but I finally did. After a while Admiral Twin started playing and they were really cool. For some reason (I don’t know why) I turned around and saw a lady wearing a green shirt and blue shorts walking down the stairs holding hands with a little boy who was wearing a black shirt and blue jeans shorts. I was looking at them as they walked down the stairs and I was thinking that the little boy looked A LOT like Mackie. When they passed me (RIGHT NEXT TO ME) down the stairs I looked right at her and I said to my mom "OH MY GOD!!!! IT’S MRS. HANSON". I watched her and she went into the crowd and got a couple ladies, and one on them was holding a baby. It could have been Zoë. Then Mrs. Hanson, Mackie, and the group of ladies walked down the stairs and turned right and went to the side of the building and went backstage. And that’s the last time I saw Mrs. Hanson. I wanted to say something to her, but I was in too much shock, so I just stood there and watched her walk backstage. Mrs. Hanson is very pretty in person and Mackie is soooooo cute. After that I told my mom everything and she said, "why didn’t you get her autograph?" (yeah right.) And then I told the two people next to me about the whole thing. It was the best Hanson concert EVER! And that is MY Mrs. Hanson encounter.

Sharon's Encounter

I was at the Molsen Center, June 20th for the Albertane Tour in Montreal. Before the show started I was sitting in my seat. I looked up and just a few rows in front of me was Mrs. Hanson standing there, she had her back to me and was looking over the rail. She was looking toward the side of the stage where this booth thing was. I grabbed my camera and snapped a pic. Unfortunately it did not turn out. I put the camera down and when I looked up again, a minute later, she was gone.
