Convent Courtyard and Correl Sections
Historians tell us that to the rear or east of the Convent, there was a network of small rooms. Between the convent and the small rooms was a courtyard but by 1836, the walls of these rooms had collapsed. To the north of the court, there was a network of lower walls used for containing livestock. Our Alamo Courtyard section and Alamo Corral Section (listed below) are designed to portray this area and are compatible with our previously issued models. |
Court Yard Wall Section
This corner unit is designed to slide against the rear wall of the convent and the chapel. It measures 13.5”x13"x4” high. It has an archway that leads to the corral area and there is an earth covered gun ramp in the corner which is raised about .5”. The model is painted as shown and there are exposed adobe bricks near the damaged area that are finished in contrasting colors. Order P141 $65.00 Correl Wall Section This model is designed to slide against the Courtyard wall section or can be used directly behind the convent if space is a concern. It measures 10”x13.5”x1.5” high.
