BIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION:

Kara Wilder was born in a small town to a middle class family. Her early years were fairly normal. Her family valued a good education and instilled these values in her. She grew up on a lonely farm with no one her age to play with. At first, her only playmates were her cousins who lived on a nearby farm. Later she found comfort in the books she read. With her cousins, she hunted small game, climbed trees, jumped back out of them, and wrestled. She learned to slip and dodge and flip them when they were off balance.. when all else failed she pulled hair, bit them, and occasionally kicked very personal locations in the name of victory and survival.

She never stopped reading though. Truly the books were the source of her first and truest friends. Through their words, she escaped her small, rather isolated world.

As she grew into her late teens, she became an asker of questions. Her natural curiosity led her to pursue an education in microbiology when she moved on to college. Her college days were fairly calm. She drank a bit but didn't like it and so quit. She took a lot of classes to quench some of her natural curiosity, loving classes in composition and history, as well as the classes in natural science. She hated her roommates, who partied too much, were slutty, too clean, too messy, or not serious about anything really. Mostly they seemed to only be there for their MRS. degree, and Kara was there to learn and get her education.

After she graduated, she worked her way into a national lab, then accepted a very good job with a government contractor called Morrow Tech. Her parents both passed away during her years working her way up, and so she threw herself into her projects. Her work there lead her to find out many things in the scientific world as well as the corporate world that she had not known as a rather innocent student. The more bits of information she stumbled upon, the more her natural curiosity took over and she began to find out more and more about man's interest in germ warfare and she became deeply concerned about oblivion through global biowarfare.

She investigated and explored, trying to find a way to stop it, and she couldn't. It was far too big for one small lab mouse to conquer. So, when Morrow Tech offered her an invitation to an orientation meeting, she accepted, and found it was a sort of a vague, recruitment meeting, which discussed making a better life for mankind. She was responsive to the ideas and ideals presented, she craved a way to escape what she saw as the gruesome and inevitable death of a large portion of mankind. When Morrow Tech found that Kara was interested, they began a much more serious recruitment effort for her, and she became part of the Project.
