We are now on to the third episode in Bubble Gum Crisis and it just keeps getting better.
We start off with another slaughtering of the A.D. Police. They keep getting mowed down by some new combat boomer. As the Knight Sabres head out to the scene they get caught up in some hitches and leave the A.D. Police to fend for themselves for a change in which they actually prevail.
From here the story takes off. The K.S. Discuss amongst themselves the situation. They all know that Mason is behind this all and they try to come up with a solution. Priss, being as brash as she can, offers the idea of simply just taking out Mason period. But since this sort of action goes against the code of the Knight Sabres, the idea is thrown out leaving Priss in a bitchy mood. Priss runs into a young boy named Sho who sits lonely waiting for his mother. It turns out that Priss has done this before and is quite acquainted with the boy and his mom. Meanwhile it appears that Mason has somewhat found Sylia out.
Man these episodes just keep getting better I tell you. This one is just as profound as the previous. It combines many aspects and plays them out with smooth transitions into moods. The action sequences are very dang spiffy. The opening battle with the boomer and the A.D. Police is fast and furious and lasts long enough to give the action hungry people their fix. The action's animation also shifts. It doesn't just stay monotone. The angles shift constantly making the fight furious and interesting. The ending battle has the same fixtures as the first. And it doesn't stay in one place either it moves from one local to another spreading the action throughout Mega-Tokyo. And the drama. Wooboy. Man who wrote this stuff? The people behind the Final Fantasy series? Damn this is top notched storytelling I tell you. This whole episode is rather a dramatic story than and action oriented show. The drama keeps you interested. It makes you not mind that there is little to no action in this episode. You get so completely enwrapped in the story that you could hardly give a darn if there was any action at all. And the story itself at the climax of it leaves you wanting action for it hypes you up as much as did the death of Aeris in FF7 made you want to kick the living **** out of Sephiroth. Simply put....this is the best damn episode of any show that I know of so far. I can hardly wait to see what's in store for the next episode. X.Luevano Comments?Feedback? Email me :tetujin@hotmail.com
